I left the dock with my son Ryan on his Ranger about 8:30 Sunday morning. Lake Erie was just beautiful. It was one of those special days that I look forward to the most. Getting to spend time with family and seeing them enjoying fishing as much as I do, is always a thrill! Ryan headed out of the harbor and was cruising at 46 mph on the way to the fishing grounds. We marked fish from 25 feet down to 5o feet. We had our limit in 3 hours with only a couple of throwbacks and a much better quality of fish. Fishing should just keep getting better as the temperatures cool and the trophy sized fish return to the western basin for the winter. Better to be lucky than good! Thanks for the great day Ryan.
