My family tradition for Father’s Day is to have the guys in the family out for a fishing trip. This year we missed having Jason and his son’s Ryder and Noah who were celebrating down at Salt Fork lake, but I’m sure they were happily fishing for blue gill and bass. Ryan and his son Kaya and our (hopefully) future son-in-law (Hey buddy, put a ring on it!) Sagi went out for walleye. We had plans with the rest of the family after fishing and decided we would stay out until noon or until catching 12 walleyes. We had our 12 by 11:15 in the morning and headed back for a pool party and cookout at our pool. It was another awesome day on Lake Erie that will never be forgotten, especially since the Cleveland Cavaliers topped off a beautiful day by giving all of us a long awaited Championship. I have to admit to falling asleep and being woken by my sweetie screaming “Woohooooo woohooooo! They won!” Awesome walleye fishing and awesome day with the family.
Fishing/Schedule Update: We have been throwing back between 20 and 30 undersized walleyes each trip that will reach legal size within a couple of months. Walleye fishing will just keep getting better and better all season long. Right now we are booked through mid-August and taking reservations for September, October of 2016 and starting to book into 2017. My apologies to all of you who have called only to learn that we were already booked!
