Gary and the gang started walleye fishing on Noah’s Ark last year and decided to turn it into an annual part of their summertime fun. They like that they get to do everything on the boat which includes setting lines, netting fish, picking out lures and pulling all the boards, rods, clips and sea anchor bags in when the day is done. They couldn’t believe how much bigger the walleyes are this year. Last year we threw a lot of undersized fish back to get our boat limit. The legal size is 15″ but this year we didn’t keep any under 17″ and still had our boat limit of 36 walleye in less than 4 hours. Believe it or not the bite was slower which is usual in August. The guys all left happy and already planning next years trip. Better to be lucky than good.
