Mike and his brother-in-law Tim chartered Noah’s Ark back in July. They hit a perfect day and the walleye were on a feeding frenzy. They enjoyed it so much they rescheduled another trip for this past Sunday in hope’s of having another banner day. They brought, their son & nephew, Matt with them this time so he could join in on the fun. The morning sun and light chop on the lake had the walleye biting immediately before we could get our 8 rods out. They continued to bite and then it got cloudy and the wind picked up slowing the walleye bite. We made some changes in color, the depth we were targeting and the speed. In no time we had the walleye biting again and we even got a triple on one side of the boat. It caused a tangle but we landed all 3 and filled the cooler with 24 beauties. The walleye averaged 2 inches bigger than in June. The guys helped with everything and did all the netting and helped set lines. Already scheduled a date in 2020. BETTER TO BE LUCKY THAN GOOD.
