Tim and I were inseparable back in the 6th and 7th grade before I moved to Westlake in the 8th grade. St Pat’s West Park is where our memories together started. Tim tracked me down a year ago.
Today, I treated Tim to a beautiful day doing what I’ve loved doing since we were kids. We went walleye fishing on Lake Erie which could be one of the nicest days we have had so far this summer. Walleye were biting immediately as we ran four rods with my favorite baits on. Tim’s second fish was a 30″ walleye and we kept our limit of 12 throwing back every fish under 18″. We had a wonderful time bringing up memories from the past as we filled the cooler. Tim hadn’t been walleye fishing in over 20 years and we plan on getting together a little more often than every 50 years. Better to be lucky than good.
