My daughter-in- law Jen was working and my oldest grandsn Noah is away at college but my son Jason, granddaughter Sophia and grandson Ryder, joined me for a day of fishing for walleye on Lake Erie. Jason is also a tournament team member and first mate with me before handing the first mate duties over to my grandson Kaya. It’s a blessing to have so many family members loving the lake and fishing almost as much as I do. The 4 of us used 6 rods to pull our boat limit of 24 walleye before it started to get hot. Ryder loves to be the netter and he and Sophia managed the rods as well as pros would. We soon headed for the house to have a pool day, cookout and cornhole games with Nana. Better to be lucky than good.
