Today was just beautiful. Fishing with Son Jason and grandson Ryder on a beautiful lake and walleye on a feeding frenzy was fantastic. We started a little later. Ryder gets tired if we start to quick, so we started setting rods at 8:30am. It didnt seem to matter to the walleye who were bending rods over as soon as we put them in the water. It was nonstop action before we took a breath and we already had 16 walleyes in the live well. We handled over 30 fish catching and releasing walleye, after we had our limit of 18 already in the cooler. It was only 10:00am. Ryder was netting and reeling fish nonstop and learning the dipsies from his dad Jason. Highlight of the day was when we were noticing how beautiful the lake and day was when Jason said, “we are so blessed to have this.” Better to be lucky and blessed than good.
