Not Grumpy old men but old indeed. Had my 4 old pals 3 of them 80 plus and 1, 90 years old for their second walleye fishing trip on www.noahsarkfishingcharter.com It has been several years since their last trip and we had their 24 walleye limit that time in just a few hours. They showed up at the dock on Tuesday morning about 7:30 and all had heard how great the walleye fishing has been and were excited to go. This day was a little different. Started out trolling and after 2 hours I started feeling a little frustrated with not a single bite. I started to change things up as we moved farther to the west where we heard on the radio things were better. All of a sudden the first rod went off and it was a sheepshead. Second rod went off and it was a huge white bass. Made a few more changes and adjusted our speed and it was on. The next 4 hours we landed 24 walleye limit and twice that many white bass. It took catching a dozen more white bass before the last walleye came in right a 2:45pm. The quality of walleye is increasing very fast as seen in the pictures. We were all wore out when we hit the dock. I took their fish and cleaned them up to be picked up this morning. Better to be lucky than good.
