I arrived at the boat Tuesday morning to another beautiful sunrise and a strong NW winds creating a choppy lake. I called Tony who had already picked up his son Chris and good friend John and were heading to the boat (Noah’s Ark). I told them to stop and have breakfast because the lake was supposed to lay down in an hour or two. It turned out there weren’t any breakfast places open so, I told them to come on to the boat and we would head out and take it easy. We headed out to the NE to 64 feet of water, a beautiful sky and the lake never quieted down. It didnt stop us from having an awesome day with a lot of laughs and tangles. Before heading in, we had their limit of 19 walleyes and went 5 for 9 on the steelhead. It was a great day with awesome friends. Tony’s son Chris did a great job on his side of the boat setting lines and netting fish. Better to be blessed and lucky than good.
