After two cancellations due to weather, Tony and his group showed up and it couldn’t have been worse. Jason from up North, who won the charity charter to help families in need, had a large yellow M on his navy blue hat. I couldn’t cancel the charter again I thought, or could I? Well, we ventured out and the yellow M had no power over my two Ohio State cushions on board. Jason and his buddies turned out to be avid first class fishermen that worked together like a well oiled machine on deck. Told them once and they had it. The next few hours we hauled in 36 walleyes over 17 inches and threw back quite a few legal fish. A great bunch of guys went home with a great bunch of fish. Better to be lucky than good.
